With all the problems of the world we must not look to the President, the government, the United Nations, science or Wall Street to solve them; there is only one person that can and that is Jesus; our gateway to God! 

We must always look to God and not man to solve our problems.  He will use man to solve the problems though it is Him who is solving the problem through man.  "Man of his owns self (separate from God) can do nothing of value."

I want to explain to you in very simple terms what I have experienced and what is available to all.  I can only speak of my own experience for it alone is what i know. 

I want every human being, all of my brothers and sisters; to "feel" what I feel inside, the joy and peace of the Lord God Almighty; His Holy Spirit!

It is not about being a Jew, a Buddhist, a Catholic, a Protestant or the many other religions and labels that man has established; it is about establishing a personal relationship with God.

Jesus came to bring clarity to all.

One can establish a relationship with God through intimacy.  After I was taught the truth of Gods' word in the Holy Bible, I chose to recite the sinners prayer which dramatically changed my life for the better; a 180 degree turn!

Immediately after I recited the prayer I felt different; a peace and joy came over my heart that I had never known before and I knew that it was real.  Simply by reciting the prayer I became born again; a brand new creation!

John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME.

I prayed:  "Heavenly Father, I Bill Lang believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that I was born a sinner in need of a savior.  I invite the Lord Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior!  Please guide, lead and direct me; take over my life!  I will praise and worship you all the days of my life! I now confess that my life will never be the same! In Jesus name, Amen!

This following is now one of my favorite scriptures.

Timothy 1: 12 - 14

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he consider me faithful, appointing me to his service.  Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man; I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.  The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Through studying and dedication to learning the truth i came to know the real love of God.  Knowing his love caused for me to repent of my crooked ways and to ask him to make me righteous in his eyes.  We must allow God to make us Christ - Like for it is the only reason we are here.  God wants  us to live as Jesus lived.  God wants us all to be vessels of his Holy Spirit.

I invite you to feel a love so pure that it would volunteer to be whipped with jagged metals, beaten, spat upon, scorned, thorn-ed and crucified out of His love for us.  God loves us so much that he sent Jesus to do this for us; to save our souls and to give us His Holy Spirit in order to make us righteous; in His image, in order to transfer heaven to earth. 

 

Jesus is the ultimate demonstration of unconditional love that creates real and lasting change.   The one and only door opener.  God in the flesh; the only man ever born to a virgin. The gateway to the heavens.  It is not by my word; but by my father’s word written in the Bible.  I have personally experienced its' truth.

God’s purpose: Peace and Life

 

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NKJV

 

Since God planned for us to have peace and the abundant life right now, why are most people not having this experience?

 

Our Problem: Separation from God (our choice results in separation from God)

 

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NIV

 

Our Attempts: Through the ages many have tried to bridge this gap…without success. 

 

“There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12 NIV

 

God’s Remedy:  The Cross

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem.   He died on the cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and people.  Jesus is the bridge that connects to God through the Holy Spirit.

 

God has provided the only way we must make the choice. 

 

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy

2:5, NIV

 

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” 1 Peter

3:18 NKJV

 

Our Response:  Receive Christ

We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him by personal invitation.

 

The Bible Says….

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.”  Revelation 3:20 NKJV

 

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Romans 10:9 NKJV

 

Is there any good reason why you cannot receive Jesus Christ right now?

 

How To Receive Christ:

 

1. Admit your need (say, “I am a sinner”).
2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask God for forgiveness.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit (receive Jesus as Lord and savior).

 

What to Pray:

     Dear Lord Jesus,

          I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.  I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead.  I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life.  I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.  I want you to guide, lead and direct my entire life.

                                     In Your Holy Name, Amen.
